Plastic Nuts
	Plastic nuts increasingly substitute the conventional metal nuts. There are good reasons for this: excellent mechanical features, low weight, low price and no corrosion. Plastic nuts have the additional advantage of being self-locking. Optional locking tabs can assure an easy socket assembly. By using an appropriate flange design a prestressed condition guaranteeing a firm fit is created without the need for an additional washer. But Emhart also produces plastic nuts with integrated TPE washers. Our nuts are made out of POM, PA and glass fibre reinforced PA.
Pin and Grommet
The Emhart Pin & Grommet is ideal for securing two panels or sheets together or e.g. for fastening a module to the car body. When set, the body of the grommet spreads into the designated holes of the two materials and builds a tight connection that meets a broad range of performance specifications, depending on type and material. Only little push-on forces are needed to assemble these fasteners, at the same time the push-off forces stay constantly high even after a number of assemblies and disassemblies.
Pipe Clips
	These elements provide for exact routing, mechanical protection and secure assembly of individual or multiple pipes of different diameters in one clip, e.g. for brake or fuel lines. The fastening element can hold up to 10 pipes. Today, the demand for “silent” car interiors is increasing. Emhart therefore developes individual solutions that virtually avoid the transfer of noise and vibrations to the car body by using additional flexible inserts, 2 component constructions or the innovative “Honeycomb” clip design.
