Tucker "No-Hole" Fastening System Go to e-Catalog

Emhart Teknologies pioneered the concept of using arc welding equipment as a means to fasten components without the need for holes in sheet metal. The system known as The No-Hole Fastening System is comprised of stud welding equipment, welded stud and an engineered plastic clip that attaches to the stud.

The result is extraordinarily strong attachments that will never be a source of corrosion or fastening system failure. Modular, microprocessor controlled stud welding systems allows customized equipment precisely matched to specific customer requirements.

Weld Studs and Plastic Fasteners

Tucker weld studs and plastic fasteners are used in numerous areas of industrial manufacturing. A stud is welded at 'body in white' or sub-assembly and forms the metallic 'no-hole' anchor point to fasten application engineered plastic fasteners or components during assembly. Tucker weld studs are generally designed for a fully automated feeding and welding process.
