Weld Fast® Weld Fast®

A one-sided drawn-arc welding process is the foundation for the No-Hole assembly solution provided by Tucker stud welding systems. Every day, a multitude of weld studs are welded to automobiles, truck bodies, farm equipment, and heavy machinery to provide highly reliable attachment points for items ranging from interior or exterior trim to module attachments to electrical system grounding. Evolution of the drawn-arc welding method has spawned the revolutionary Nutfast® one-sided nut welding system and the Weldfast® one-sided bracket welding technology. Both of these technology extensions are designed to reduce in-place costs, reduce floorspace requirements, reduce weight, and increase processing flexibility.

Stud Welding & Plastic Fasteners

Tucker weld studs and plastic fasteners are used in numerous areas of industrial manufacturing. A stud is welded at "body in white" or sub-assembly and forms the metallic "no-hole" anchor point to fasten application-engineered plastic fasteners during assembly. Tucker stud weldings are generally designed for a fully automated feeding and welding process.
